DEPOSIT
A deposit, of 50% to secure your provisional booking, is required. Please note, should the booking be confirmed via WhatsApp, email, in writing, telephonically or in person, no date will be held without a deposit. The onus lies on the booking party to view the venue and confirm its suitability for each event.
A 50% Cancellation fee on the full booking value will then be applicable. Venue hire fee will be fully charged for any cancellations done under 60 days prior to the event date.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The following cancellation fee will be charged by THE BEACH RIVONIA to the CLIENT in the event of cancellation of any advance reservation or booking. The booking fee includes the mandatory baseline items of venue hire, bar tab per head, gratuity on a bar tab, catering per head, and DJ. These baseline charges will all be included in the cancelation fee.
All cancellation charges on optional items will be waived. Should the bar tab value and catering value not be confirmed, a surcharge of R200.00 per head will be used for the bar tab value and R200.00 per head for catering. Venue hirewill be charged at full cost upon cancellation of booking under 60 days before the date of the event.
- 60 Days prior to the event date, a 20% cancellation fee will be levied on the full value of the booking.
- 30 Days prior to the event date, a 50% cancellation fee will be levied on the full value of the booking, excluding venue hire which will be charged at full price.
- 14 Days prior to event date, a 75% cancellation fee will be levied on the full value of the booking, excluding venue hire which will be charged at full price.
- 7 Days or less prior to event date, a 100% cancellation fee will be levied on the full value of the booking, excluding venue hire which will be charged at full price.
Food Disclaimer
The Beach Rivonia is not a halal certified or kosher certified venue however we do engage the services of third party caterers to provide halal and kosher meals upon request from our customers.
These third-party caterers are either halal or kosher certified or purchase their produce from halal certified outlets. The Beach Rivonia has taken steps to ensure the that customer requests can be catered to however The Beach Rivonia holds no liability for false advertising by third-party catering companies.
